Concept study

A snap with a defined stop

Challenge: Modules need to feel effortless to rearrange without drifting, rocking or exposing hardware across the desk surface.

Approach: Concealed magnets provide pull while a shallow recess and alignment feature resolve the final position and resist sideways movement.

Intended outcome: The concept supports repeatable placement and a quiet visual grid; final hold strength and tolerances still require physical validation.

Concept study

One role for every material

Challenge: A premium desk object can become visually noisy when wood, polymer, metal and soft liners all compete for attention.

Approach: Walnut establishes the furniture plane, graphite shapes the replaceable modules, felt protects contact zones and aluminium marks alignment sparingly.

Intended outcome: The concept palette remains tactile and legible while exact grades, colors and sources wait for the approved quote.

Concept study

Packaging that preserves the grid

Challenge: Separate modules can collide, rub or arrive in the wrong orientation when a complete system travels as one gift.

Approach: A fitted rigid case gives every module a labelled-by-position cavity in the approved packing plan, with soft contact surfaces and a pull layer.

Intended outcome: The packaging concept makes the intended arrangement clear while final board, foam and carrier specifications remain subject to the route and quote.
